Annie Tang

Assistant Professor of Statistics, Colby College

Annie is an assistant professor of statistics at Colby College. She engages in both foundational methodology-driven research and applied collaborative research. Her more theoretical research has focused on Bayesian and Bayesian-like methods for high-dimensional and complex data, and in her applied work, she works on health services research in collaboration with the Emergency Medicine Department at the Mount Sinai Health System in NYC. Her current research interests include high-dimensional statistics, conformal prediction, variational inference, and interpretable AI.
