DavisAI offers free one-on-one appointments on weekdays to Colby community members. We’ll tailor the session to you, so bring your questions, curiosities, and concerns.
The Distinguished AI Speaker Series brings prominent thought leaders and experts—ranging from corporate leaders and public policy specialists to novelists and artists—to the Colby community to explore the ethical, creative, and strategic frontiers of human-centered artificial intelligence.
We offer technology grants for AI course development and exploratory research projects. Faculty will be awarded grants of up to $3000 per year in various forms of support.

Each year, the Davis Institute for AI hosts a Colby faculty scholar; a faculty member part of whose sabbatical is spent working with the Institute. Candidates will be faculty at Colby with (a) a sabbatical coming up in the 2025-26 academic year and (b) experience with or interest in scholarship at the intersection of their discipline and AI. Faculty with one-semester sabbaticals are also welcome to apply.
