Director of the Halloran Lab for Entrepreneurship, Colby College
Jonathan Godbout is Deputy Director of the Halloran Lab for Entrepreneurship at Colby College, where he teaches courses at the intersection of artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and social impact. He is co-founder, and CTO of Prospector, an AI analytics platform serving Fortune 500 mining companies including Newmont, BHP, and the U.S. Geological Survey. He previously co-founded iBUILD Global, a construction fintech company that grew to over 50,000 users across East Africa in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, Shelter Afrique, and Mastercard Labs. Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Jonathan spent seven years at IBM as a Senior Managing Consultant, leading multimillion-dollar engagements across government, defense, healthcare, and finance. A 2008 Colby graduate in Economics and International Studies, he lives in Waterville, Maine.
