Justin Brown is the Laboratory Research Manager for the VEMI Lab at The University of Maine and a two-time UMaine alumnus, holding a B.S. in Physics (2020) and an M.S. in Information Systems (2023). Driven by a passion for community building and team management, Justin prioritizes fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment where diverse skillsets are celebrated. He is known for his approachable leadership style and his dedication to mentoring undergraduate and graduate researchers. Whether he is leading lab tours or working with research participants, Justin’s natural gift for communication makes him a vital bridge between complex research and the public. Outside the lab, Justin keeps his energy high as a spin instructor and enjoys staying competitive on the pickleball court.
